Dean Witter Ranks Third in Overall Customer Service but Pushes the Most Risky Investments during Initial Client Consultations
The same Prophet study found that Dean Witter brokers pushed the most risky investments (individual stocks and international mutual funds) during the initial consultation.
Other firms performed as follows for customer satisfaction:
a) Highest, Smith Barney;
b) Lowest 5, Dain Bosworth, Fahnestock, Gruntal, Janney Montgomery and Legg Mason
