Merrill Lynch Ads Advise Buying Bonds and Diversifying
Merrill Lynch has retreated from promoting online trading of stocks.
Merrill has launched a national ad campaign promoting bond investing and diversification of investments through the use of a financial adviser.
Other brokerage firms are developing similar ad campaigns.
