A.G. Edwards Fined $900,000 For Charging Customers Excessive Account Fees

The New York Stock Exchange found that A.G. Edwards charged excessive fees to its customers. The findings relate to the firm's "Client Choice" account, which are non-managed fee based accounts. Fees charged, the NYSE found, were excessive in light of the light trading activity that occurred in those accounts.
